During seven days stay experienced strong smell of septic around property including grounds and restaurants and the beach, it was impossible to breathe. Most time was spent in palm beach (30 min walk to north).”.
We apologize that you experienced bad odors around our property during your recent stay with us, this was caused by a malfunction at the Aruban water treatment plant.”

Heavy sewer methane smell
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review for us. We can read from the review that you were not satisfied with your stay with us and we sincerely apologize that we did not meet your expectations. We are renovating the resort, but in sections so we can keep the inconveniences to a minimum. Nevertheless reading your review it was not your case during your stay and we apologize for this. Due to the proximity of the water treatment facility on-island, guests and patrons of [RESORT] might experience faint organic or earthy smells from time to time. The Aruban government is currently investing $16 million in the water plant, which will drastically improve and likely cease the situation altogether upon completion. In fact, we are already experiencing a substantial difference. Providing a hospitable, welcoming environment is the essence of our business, and we’re staying connected to the proper contacts on the island to remain informed on plant maintenance.”.

A sewage treatment plant next door has malfunctioned, it was not designed to handle the capacity of new hotels and has failed.
We most sincerely apologize for the inconveniences you experienced due to the smells that have been coming recently from the Island’s water plant.
Unfortunately this is my family’s third and final visit to the [RESORT]. I cannot recommend anyone stay at the resort given the issues there and the surfeit of other hotel options in Aruba.
Thank you for taking time to write us a review. We are sorry to read that this will be your last time staying with as your stay with us was not to your full satisfaction due to the stench. Please note that the Aruban government is currently investing $16 million in the water plant, which will drastically improve and likely cease the situation altogether upon completion. (…). Beware of sewage plant
We appreciate the time taken to provide us with your review. We are happy to read that your experience at [location] was amazing and everything was delicious and well-served. As for your accommodation please note that we have been renovating our property and have completed 2/3 of all rooms, we are confident that you well get to experience a new renovated room during your next stay with us. However, we are sorry to hear that your stay with us was not to your full satisfaction and apologize for the inconvenience cause during tour trip. Due to the proximity of the water treatment facility on-islands, guests and patrons of [RESORT] might experience faint organic or earthy smells from time to time. The Government of Aruba has addressed the situation in detail and is currently investing $ 16 million in the water plant, which will drastically improve and likely cease the situation altogether upon completion. We hope you will give us another opportunity so you can receive the kind of excellent experience we are known for.”.
