Both during, and for a period of one year following termination of, the employment contract, the Employee will be forbidden, either directly or indirectly, for remuneration or otherwise, as an employee, sole trader or otherwise, to work for and (or) have financial interests in and (or) be associated or involved with in any form, in any group, business entity or other organization whatsoever (including manufacturers and their distributors) involved in activities in the Netherlands or any other country in the world the Employee worked in during this employment contract, that are the same or similar to or competitive with those of the Employer, the Hiring Company, the Associated Companies and (or) the Group, without the prior written permission of the Employer or the Hiring Company.”
