The HR Advisor (Tier 1) will be responsible for providing excellent HR customer support in responding to inquiries made by candidates, employees, and managers on a broad range of HR subject matters. In addition, the HR Advisor will execute employee lifecycle actions and data management transactions in HR systems according to operating procedures and with a high level of accuracy.
Job Duties:
• Deliver a high level of customer service to candidates, employees, and managers.
• Actively support the achievement of communicated Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for targeted services.
• Complete transactions in HR systems to maintain accurate and timely employee information.
• Support defined HR processes and policies: new hire welcome; tuition reimbursement; benefits administration, off boarding process, employment verification letters, liaison with payroll, maintain electronic HR files, etc.
• Utilize case management application to record interactions and manage follow up.
• Proactively collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and HR centers of excellence (COEs) to ensure efficient, accurate, and consistent support for escalated inquiries.
• Contribute to the development and documentation of in-scope processes that meet evolving HR and business needs.
• Support the continuous improvement by identifying areas for change, automation, improved documentation, etc. that speeds effective service delivery.
• Support the deployment of enterprise-wide HR programs and initiatives.
• Establish and maintain a high level of knowledge HR policies and practices and effectively communicate this to customers to ensure compliance and consistency.
• Serve as an ambassador for HR Connect (Shared Services) within HR and with the internal customers.
Required Skills:
• Some customer service experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizing and time management skills
• Ability to confidentially manage personal and employee information.
• Proficient user of MS Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint Ability to execute routine reporting using MS Excel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required in both Dutch and English.
Preferred:
• Speak and write proficientiy in French and German
Education & Experience:
• No previous HR experience required
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
