“After his surrender to Lithuania on the basis of the EAW, [opgeëiste persoon] could be held in the Vilnius prison until his transfer to the prison situated within the area of activity of the court that imposed the measure of coercion, for a maximum term of one week from the date of receipt of the decision on the extension of the term of detention.
In the event of extension of the term of detention as the measure of coercion imposed against [opgeëiste persoon] , he will be transferred to the prison within the area of activity of the court that imposed the measure of coercion. Given that detention was imposed against [opgeëiste persoon] by the Kaunas Chamber of the Kaunas District Court, if the same court extends the term of detention, [opgeëiste persoon]
will be held in the Kaunas prison.
Please be notified that detainees are provided with a minimum living area of 3.6 m2 (excluding sanitary facilities).

Detainees are allowed to walk in the open air for a minimum of 1 hour per day and those detainee who receive recommendations by a doctor, are allowed to walk in the open air for at least 3 hours per day.
Detainees are allowed to leave locked residential floors, living premises (cells): for employment activities; if this is necessary for studies in an educational establishment; to the meetings with visitors; for making telephone calls; to the dining room, to the shower, to participation in resocialization measures, to the meetings with the defense lawyer (attorney-at-law or his/her assistant); for engagement in individual or any other activities established by law; to conclude a marriage; to visit personal health care specialists (in urgent cases or at the time of appointment fixed by a health care specialist); in free time: to walk in the open air or to engage in other activities.
Detainees are taken for a walk together with the detainees from the same cell. E. Jonavičius will be placed in a cell with other detainees only after it has been established that there is no risk of conflict among theses detainees and they are capable of coexisting peacefully in one cell. It should be noted that activities in prisons are organized in accordance with a pre-arranged daily routine activity plan, which eliminates the
possibility for the detainees or inmates with a potential risk of conflict to meet in common-use areas and/activities.
In order to control violence among prisoners and as far as possible, leaders of non-formal prison hierarchies, their accomplices and other prisoners who have a negative influence on other prisoners are kept separately from other vulnerable prisoners. Leaders of non-formal prison hierarchies are isolated on separate floors and in separate locked cells.”
